The Full Cheeks Large Buckles Branches reinforce the framing effect of the Full Cheeks Branches with larger buckles, offering better guidance and tension with the horse’s mouth.
Why use these buckles ?
The Full Cheeks bit is generally used on young horses or those just starting out. These branches help stabilize the bit in the mouth and frame the horse’s mouth, especially when turning.
At I-Bride, for young horses under 8 years of age, we recommend that you accompany our needle bits with an Easy-Ride Soft Flex mouthpiece – which preserves the development of mandibular bars while providing a high level of comfort.
The side pieces are here sold without the mouthpiece. You can choose mouthpieces or the complete bits in the shop.
