The Interchangeable Tandem Bit Medium Flex + is designed to allow the rider to adapt the mouthpiece to fit the horse with different cushioning and flexibility.
As with the Easy-Ride bits, you can choose the best mouthpiece for your horse.
The Medium Flex + mouthpiece consists of 3 layers:
- a central core offering the flexibility of the mouthpiece: flexibility + stimulate the same mechanoreceptors as a double-jointed bit.
- the intermediate core giving the mouthpiece ergonomics: the pressure points are well distributed, the morphology of the horse’s mouth is respected.
- the cover layer providing damping: the “Medium” mouthpiece is less damping than a “Soft” and more damping than a “Strong” mouthpiece. The information transmitted from the rider’s hands to the horse’s mouth is partially absorbed. This is an intermediate damping.

Tandem bit, what is it ?
The use of a tandem bit is a combination of bit use and ” combined ” hackamore use.
The tandem bit allows to spread the pressure between the mouth (tongue, mandibular bars, lips..), the chamfer and the neck.
It is suited for strong and sensitive horses.
🚩This bit is not allowed in Club and Amateur events. It is mostly used by experienced riders.
