Detailed description
The offset mouthpiece was developed by our equine dentists, in collaboration with our sponsored riders, with the aim of creating a cannon adapted to horses with:
- anterior-posterior misalignments
- mandibular periostitis
- large tongues, etc.
The offset mouthpiece gives them the space they need for optimum comfort and contact.
The Soft Flex + mouthpiece is made of 3 layers:
- a central core offering the flexibility of the mouthpiece: flexibility + stimulate the same mechanoreceptors as a double-jointed bit.
- the intermediate core giving the mouthpiece ergonomics: the pressure points are well distributed, the morphology of the horse’s mouth is respected.
- the cover layer providing damping: the “soft” mouthpiece is the material that absorb shocks from the rider’s hand the most. The information thus transmitted to the horse is attenuated. This is ideal for sensitive horses.
